A once-in-a-century opportunity: the longest total eclipse on July 22, 2009 would fall over China, India and Japan.
Our Idea: For 6 minutes 39 seconds, the Moon will block the Sun. But for the remaining 500,000 minutes, use Neutrogena Ultra Sheer sunblock to protect yourself from the Sun.
We created SunStopper.sg, a site to which we drove traffic with blogs, viral videos (no less than 21 in less than a month!), tweets, a Facebook fan page and guerrilla stunts.
Finally, on the day of the eclipse, as thousands watched the live stream from China, we claimed the eclipse on behalf of Neutrogena Ultra Sheer sunblock.
